Hello all, new to the forum but long term donkey owner/slave here! Having an interest in purchasing a big donk to ride as I am getting a little long in tooth and after many years working with horses have a completely stiff spine. OH and I travelled to Vale Farm a couple of weeks ago and after a comfy night in the Shepherds Hut we had a ride on two of their mammoths. Well, what lovely calm animals , we had a fabulous steady ride over the rolling fields around Jon and Christas farm and after much debate came home having purchased a Mammoth donk! I am now the very proud owner of Wally, who is B and L Farms Waldrons Ambassador when being posh, he is an 18 month colt, a pinky brown spotted boy, who should mature at around 15 to 16 hands. So am sure I will be back to buy the riding donk next time! Lol, am so lucky to have him, will pop him out to a few shows next year.

Hello Kazzi, and welcome to the forum. They are truly wonderful donkeys aren't they. I didn't ride any, but cuddled a few. Did you see Meg?
Now, as a viewer of the forum, you know what I am going to say - we need pics. (I have seen Wally on BandL farms website)

He should make 15 hands plus. Sounds like you have the bug now with 7 and more on way!! Havent fathomed out how to post pics am working on it now x
