Before Ruth 'Stickys' this could you try it out Baglady and see if it makes sense?
A Basic Guide to How to Post Photos using PhotobucketOpen the web page
www.photobucket.com.
To sign up you need to fill out the boxes as instructed on the web page.
Once you have a Photobucket account you can upload photos from your mobile phone or from your computer. Think of it as an on-line photo album that you can use to store photos; it is a good place to keep photos you don’t want to loose if your computer goes wrong. If you regularly ‘back up’ everything on your computer you will have copies of all your digital photos, if you don’t then there is the risk you could loose them if your computer crashes. If they are on Photobucket you won’t loose them.
This is how to do it from your computer:
Click on ‘Login’ on the top right of your Photobucket page then enter your User name and Password and click on ‘Login’
This will open your account page, which will show miscellaneous photos you might have in your album. In the dark blue strip at the top of the page, beside the ‘Photobucket’ name is ‘My home’ click on this.
This will show your recent uploads, or photos you have used to post on a website.
It also shows your different albums if you keep different photo albums for different subjects.

s75.photobucket.com/home/Bouillaguet/indexTo Upload:
Click on ‘Upload now’ (top right corner)
You can now do either of the following:
1) Click on the Green button ‘Select photos and videos’ if you have only a couple of photos to upload
Or
2) Click on Bulk uploader if you have lots of pictures to do.
Select the photos you want to upload from your computer, and wait for Photobucket to put them on the screen
(If you are not on Broadband, or have an older, slower computer this may take some time but will eventually happen!)
Your picture(s) will appear on the screen and you can then add a title & description in the appropriate boxes (I never bother with tags, but it’s up to you of course)
Then click on ‘Save’
Your image(s) will appear on the page that opens when you Login.
Under each image there is
Share/Edit/Delete/MoveClick on ‘Share’
A box will come up with a tiny image of your picture at the top left and under it 4 tags
Post to website - Send email - Get link code - Send to phoneClick on ‘Get link code’
On the choices list that comes up the fourth one down is
IMG for bulletin boards & forumsLeft click in the first box to put a tick mark (on the right it says ‘Full size’)
Now you need to highlight the whole of the code that is in the box that starts and finishes with
HTTP://………….
You must make sure you have both the start bracket and the end bracket otherwise it will not work. If you have problems highlighting from the very beginning (left to right) it is sometimes easier to go from the end (right to left). Don’t ask me why, but I’ve just found it so! To highlight you put your cursor at the start of the line, to the left of the first [ and hold down your left mouse button and drag it along the line until it is all highlighted to the right of the last ]
With the whole line highlighted (usually in blue, but that depends on your computer) let go the left mouse button and click on the right button. A little box will come up and you let go the right button and click on ‘Copy’ with the left button. This will copy the highlighted text automatically (but you can’t see anything different).
Go to the Donkey Forum, and in the box where you write your new thread, or a reply, right click and a little box will appear with ‘Paste’ in bold, click your cursor on it and the [IMG……….IMG] string will appear. If ‘Paste’ is not in bold then you haven’t copied correctly. Try again with Highlight, then Copy, then Paste as detailed above.
At this stage the photo will not show up
Repeat from the top of this page for each photo you want to add.
When you have finished your reply click on ‘Post Message’ in the usual way and your photo should appear on the screen in the Gallery or wherever you’ve put it.
I hope this helps.
