I'm sure they'd accept yours if you came. ;D
It's the first year of the show and the couple have decided to give it a go because the french don't do shows like you get in the UK. You can't enter for anything in France (jumping , dressage included) unless your horse is a registered breed.

Some pics, please, Fou! I'm especially interested in tack if you can get rid of the riders JJ: The Donkey & Mule Society show is coming up in September in Corsicana [TX}. They are going to have cutting mule demonstrations with real cattle and then a class. I'm interested to see this and will be sure to make the class for some pics to post for you. Also, I hope to make the coon jumping which has separate entries for the mules and donkeys.

I've had an e-mail about this too. Are you going Fougere? I hope to get to it.

I'm hoping to go - just me/us, not the neddies. I'm not very good at organising things well in advance, so it depends what we are up to nearer the time. I just hope it's not too hot on the day for the participants.

Jelly, you know you're welcome to stop here overnight if it helps. I think the venue is about 45 mins away from our place.

Now its beginning to sound like a plan Yes please Fou. Would it be better to come on the Saturday and go home after the show or come on the morning of the show and drive home the day after? What do you think. Jells

I think you'd be better off to come on the Saturday because the donkey classes are quite early. Otherwise you'd be setting off in the wee hours to get here in time!

This is all sounding very promising! You are very welcome to call at mine on the way back Jelly (Junction 44) - and you of course Fougere, but maybe a bit of a long detour for you?

I've just heard that the show has been cancelled due to a lack of parking facilities. Such a shame.

Excellent! I'll give you a ring towards the end of the week ;D Jelly? Perhaps it is just a bit far - alternatively you will have to come to the Donkey Day at Pompadour on 14th July
